The incubation period of the virus is between one and three months. In this period, if you undergo tests, the virus will not be detected. If you have not detected the existence of the virus with tests, when it develops it will start showing the first symptoms – exhaustion, weakness, loss of appetite and sometimes yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice). 20% of chronically infected people, who are not treated, will develop cirrhosis of the liver. If it is not fatal, the last stage is liver cancer.
