The body of a man was found by a bailiff, in a freezer in a flat on 37 Evangelistrias Street in the Athens suburb of Kallithea. The bailiff entered the flat with the help of a locksmith to submit an eviction notice to the Bulgarian woman who occupied it.
According to cnn.gr sources, the woman lived in the flat with her child. Neighbours who live in the same building told the media that for some time they had not seen her in the flat.
The Greek online edition protothema.gr cites sources saying that the authorities are investigating the probability of the body belonging to a Bulgarian citizen who has been missing for six months.

The investigation is being carried out by members of the Homicide Department of the Greek police.
