- A statement by Prime Minister Erdogan a few weeks ago that Thrace is Turkey’s bridge to Europe had provoked violent reactions among both the Greek media and the Greek Foreign Ministry. Greece is very sensitive in terms of the Muslims in Thrace. However, to what extent is this minority part of the public debate in Turkey?
