A powerful explosion broke out at a warehouse for Bengal lights and other fireworks in Zevgolatio village, Corinthia area. The explosion completely destroyed half of the building and injured four people, namely two children, aged 7 and 11, and two adults, aged 36 and 39. The injured children are at the State Children's Hospital in Athens with serious burns. At the time of the accident, they were playing in the yard when the explosion swept them away. The two adults are probably the owners of the warehouse that was in the building of their house.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
