The love story of 55-year-old astrologist Natasha Livaniou and her 43-year-old partner had a tragic end. The two of them had had a long relationship and he is known as the grandson of an old Greek MP.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the couple was seen arguing near Asklipiou Street in the Kifissia district of the northern suburbs of Athens. In the midst of the scandal, according to data reported by the police, the man got in his car parked near the victim's home and raced at full speed. According to information reported to date, the man was drunk. He ran over his girlfriend and she died on the spot. The police attributed the action to jealousy, but his motives are not entirely clear yet.
During the quarrel between the two lovers, shortly before the fatal moment, Livaniou phoned her 27-year-old son to tell him that she had a problem. The young man immediately took a taxi, in order to help his mother. When he arrived at the place of the quarrel, his mother was already dead. Witnesses to the incident who live in the area alerted the police about the development of events. The perpetrator was arrested at the scene.
Livaniou was a famous astrologist in Greece with a long career in television and printed media. She collaborated with Playboy magazine, in which she had her own column about zodiac predictions. For many years, she was an astrological counsellor on the morning show of Star TV.
Ironically, in her last prediction about the influence of the stars, Livaniou said that in the period 22 April to 30 April people should be careful and avoid accidents and collisions with their partner.
"Avoid using metal objects and machines. The imbalance between Venus and Saturn can create a lot of pressure, discomfort and a sense of loneliness and frustration. Your love partner may be cold and estranged, which will lead to a conflict. It is preferable that you avoid meeting with him in this period, unless you want to find out some bitter truths about your relationship," she wrote in her personal blog two weeks before the tragic incident.
