Although the day off on 1 May was changed to Tuesday, 7 May, today people who travelled for the Easter holidays are gradually returning to cities. Seats on the ferries from the Cyclades are fully occupied, and shipping companies have provided special services for a better passenger service. Luckily, the weather will be good, but winds will slightly increase in the Aegean Sea.

On highways, the traffic police have taken extraordinary measures in order to facilitate the return, and the ban on movement of trucks with a load capacity of above 1.5 tonnes will remain on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The ban will also apply on St. Thomas Sunday, 12 May, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

It is noted that railway trains are on strike until noon and the subway will run up to Doukissis Plakentias metro station.
