The granddaughter of the Honourable President of New Democracy, Konstantinos Mitsotakis, following in the footsteps of other celebrities, has become involved in tourism. Alexia Bakoyannis, the daughter of former Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis, using the luxury villa acquired jointly with her ex-husband on the Cycladic island of Kea, has obtained a licence for a hotel unit.

As can be seen from an official document from the Greek Tourism Organization, those who choose one of Mrs. Bakoyannis's hotels to spend their summer vacation in will have the opportunity to live in one of the 16 fully equipped rooms and enjoy the house's huge pool with a great view of the island's beauties.

Earthly paradise on the island of Serifos

The road to renting out villas was opened a long time ago by former Minister of Finance Giorgos Papakonstantinou, who put aside his concerns with the Special Court for the Lagarde list and put on a big smile to meet ... customers with full wallets.

The stone villa of the former Prime Minister which has a private road is located near Ramos, about 5 km from the port of Serifos. Its value, according to experts in the real estate market, surpasses EUR 1 million.

This impressive villa was at the epicentre of political clashes after reports that the former minister declared the pool, which is located next to the building, as a tank for collecting rainwater.

Villa Ragousis on Paros island

Any willing tourist can rent, for € 2,000 per day, the spectacular "Villa Ragousis" on the island of Paros.

What does booking.com say

With a balcony overlooking the beaches of Paros, Villa Fullmoon, located on top of Naoussa hill, is a property within an area of 32 decares. It offers an outdoor pool, a garden, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven.

With Cycladic architecture, white colour and with beautiful marble floors, the villa has air conditioning and free wireless internet. The living room offers a flat screen TV and sofas. The kitchen has a microwave and everything else that could be desired ...

Alkaios is a hotel-keeper as well

Singer Giorgos Alkaios runs his hotel on the island of Milos, which consists of 10 luxury studios. Its location is especially impressive because it offers views of both the sea and the mountains. In the same place, the singer has built a maisonette for himself, from which there are spectacular views. The area where the hotel is built was inherited from his grandmother.
