Most recently, the company has opened the first of its kind online shop that offers its famous jewellery, including the legendary collections inspired by ancient Greece’s jewellery.
Modern Greece may be in its sixth year of recession, but entrepreneurship has not stopped. An example of this is the company Zeus + Dione, which was presented at the forum by its co-founder and creative director Mareva Grabowski.
"Mythology says that their love gave birth to Aphrodite - a symbol of beauty and elegance," she said. The company is engaged in the search of traditional techniques and materials from all over Greece for the production of a wide range of products, including clothing, shoes, jewellery, and even furniture.
"Our motto is to create authentic Greek luxury because we believe that the country bears that charge," concluded Mareva Grabowski.
