In this article I will present you the astrological picture for the period 1 - 31 March. I will start as usual with the general picture as a whole and then I will make individual forecasts.

In the previous article I informed you that February seemed to be a bit confusing especially with regard to intellectual activity. Mercury and Jupiter were in their retrograde phase. These planets symbolize intellect, education and intelligence. The position of Mercury in the Zodiac circle suggested that this month could be full of misinformation, gossip, slander and manipulation. Society as a whole could be quite confused due to conflicting information. For people involved in research, creative or scholarly work, February could be especially productive. But for the rest, it would be a month in which things would get very difficult and the more effort that was being put into something, the more confusion it would cause.

The new moon on the last day of January loaded February with the opportunity to "connect with the right people or get in touch with the right knowledge. Those who know how to listen would derive the greatest benefit during a time of misinformation and manipulation. In February, everyone’s ability to sense a risk of instability and anxiety would be particularly active. Therefore, people’s activity and energy to "make and create" would be growing. People would be trying to be proactive, sometimes without knowing what makes them do that. Actually, we are most active when we sense a risk of failure and we do our best in order to avoid it.

What should we expect in March 2014?

The series of retrograde planets is continuing. If you think that January and February were confusing and are finally over, you should be patient, since it is Mars’s turn now, in the company of Saturn. The retrograde phase of these two planets will begin on 1 March and remain active for nearly three months - until the end of May.

This will be a period of more serious difficulties. Given the signs of the zodiac in which the two planets fall, a remarkable combination will be formed. The urge to initiate and plunge into new activities will be enormous. Everyone will want to lead others, but not be led in turn. The situation will resemble a team of two or more horses, each pulling in a different direction.

Those who have not done their job properly will face a lot of surprises and a lot of things that need to be revised and restructured. A lot of problems will occur - accidents, disputes, quarrels, etc. Some people will want to fight instead of agreeing with each other or doing some work together. Others will refuse to fulfil their commitments, unceremoniously and without explanation. New ventures in this period risk facing many obstacles and some of them may just remain unfinished due to lack of a strong foundation.

However, there is a bright spot in the whole picture. On 6 March, Jupiter will start moving in a “straight” direction – a piece of people’s sanity, optimism and faith will be preserved.

The new moon on 1 March will charge the month with an energy which is very closely associated with diseases and their treatment. I mean diseases both literally and figuratively. All the more serious “hot spots” of social groups (family, work team, team, party, country, etc.) will be activated and will begin to suffer, and some of them will fall apart or there will be ambiguity as to whether they have a future. I expect that an unusual epidemic will develop in March and there may be new germs and viruses or an unknown disease the treatment of which will be more complicated. Spills of polluting liquids are also possible - oil, chemicals, etc. Energy accidents and incidents will be more frequent.

The new moon is also associated with the revelation of secrets or with keeping a secret. People will tend to remain in their narrow circle and exhibit antisocial behaviour. Destructive tendencies will intensify. The revelation of a certain secret will seriously affect the categories of "friends" and "enemies." For those who are interested in everything connected with the cosmos, the universe and spiritual knowledge, March can be full of surprising and inspiring discoveries.

In March, you can expect new things related to duties, obligations and work as well as to a fight with "saboteurs". You will have a burst of energy and become very active. If you want to make some personal changes related to your body image, appearance, etc. now is the time. The most difficult area for the month will be your home, family and love life. You will spend your energy mostly in terms of these things. Some of your partnerships, both personal and professional ones, are in danger of collapse and emergence of serious problems.
