The terrorist Nikos Maziotis was held in the prison hospital of "Korydallos", in a special cell with bulletproof windows and security cameras.
Yesterday afternoon Maziotis was first taken to court and then moved from the "Evangelismos" hospital, where he was treated for the wound in his shoulder received during his spectacular arrest on Wednesday.
On Saturday, Maziotis asked the investigator who visited him in the hospital to be moved to prison. According to some sources, the terrorist signed a document that he would be taking responsibility for his decision, although the doctors were against it. In the end his request was approved..

In court, when asked by investigators about his profession, Maziotis replied that he was a revolutionary, but refused to say his name. The investigator gave him time until Monday, 1.30 pm, to prepare his defence speech.
Meanwhile Maziotis' girlfriend, Paula Roupa, has disappeared without a trace. She has taken with her their child, some technical equipment and photos.
As announced by Mega TV channel on Saturday night, Paula Roupa is now unrecognizable compared to the photograph available to the police.  Before disappearing with their 4-year-old child, Maziotis' girlfriend and mother of the child, who is wanted by the police, had removed from their home everything that could help the investigating authorities.

It is claimed that Paula Roupa has taken with her at least one laptop and mobile phones, as there was no landline phone in the house. Also, she removed photographs from some of the frames, which, according to the police, speaks of drastic change in her appearance.
According to the testimony of neighbours, Paula is now much weaker and with blond hair. Both she and Maziotis seemed to be "quiet" people. From the scarce information provided by residents of the neighborhood near the street of "Ipsilandou", Paula and Maziotis have said they are unemployed, and Roupa received some income as a translator. As for the wig, the neighbours said it was obvious that Maziotis was wearing a wig, but they thought he was suffering from some disease.
In Maziotis' apartment, were found numerous materials from newspapers from the period when both Paula and Maziotis were wanted by the police. Also, the police found clothes that seem to have been worn by the terrorist during his various “attacks”.
