Summer is coming – soft wind, blue skies, the flowers and trees give out their unique scents, you know spring is here and you cannot wait for summer. Well, at least this is the weather in Greece. Wherever you are if you cannot feel what I am talking about then sit down, check out this week’s GRR HOT 15 and leave it to us to transfer the “spring-summer” feeling to you.
For a second week, leading the chart is Sakis Rouvas and his Eurovision candidate song “This is our night.” As you found out from last week, Saki squeezed Bulgaria in his schedule and will visit the country for a secret concert. Organized by MAD TV Bulgaria, Saki will sing a duet with Galia.
Climbing with one position is the busy Kanye West with his song “Love Lockdown.” He is jumping from city to city, popularizing his already popular album 808’s & Heartbreak. If you get tired of the warm weather, you can always go to London on July 5th to see the performer play on WIRELESS 2009! Next, on number three in GRR HOT 15 this week is Flo Rida with “Right Round.” You can finally see the original video clip to his song, which was released not too long ago.
Now something very interesting – from making Coffee Mate commercials, to graduating from Law School at the age of 19, this is Milenita! Successful in whatever she undertakes, it is no surprise that her song “Niama” keeps raising in GRR HOT 15! “You and I, we loved each other in different worlds,” sings Milenita, but we love her here and now!
Good news for C:Real – they are up three positions this week and getting closer and closer to Sakis. “An Ise Esi” is fighting fiercely for a fifth week in GRR HOT 15 and it succeeded to pass “Life in Technicolor” by Coldplay, who comes up with one position to number 6. Last week Coldplay was a little more relaxed because he didn’t have Robbie Williams so close to him, but this week competition is tight again – “Close my Eyes” by Robbie and Sander Van Doorn jumped up with two positions and are not right under Coldplay on number 7.
After being in the top 5 for six weeks, Lady Gaga’s song “Just Dance” started to fall down. This week she is on number 8 but this is not bad news for her, because another of her songs enters the chart. This is “Love Game” and the incredible Gaga will keep on boiling our blood for many weeks to come!
Another Greek song on number 9 and promising to keep rising - Eleni Peta with “Val ta sta podia.” One position up but this is good because there is a big Greek competition in this week’s GRR HOT 15. Another one of the five Greek songs is “Eho Esena” by Andonis Remos, who jumped up 3 positions and landed on number 12. Very interesting is the other new song this week – “Prosehe” by Stavros Ntantous & The Los Tigainos - a relatively unknown singer, but with great talent and potential. We are looking forward to seeing how the Greek competition will work things out among themselves!
On number 10 is Krasi Avramov with “Illusion.” Krasi has been in the chart for 9 weeks and this week he fell down with four positions. Great song and we wish it good luck on this year’s Eurovision in Moscow! Following is “Colors” by Neli Petkova & Kuku Bend, which are protecting their 11th place very good. I wonder if stagnation will turn into attack next week.
Lucky number thirteen is conquered by Armin van Buuren & Sharon den Adel with “In and Out of Love.” They climbed up with one position with the promise to keep doing it. Great song, which makes your body move!
And now you can enjoy GRR HOT 15 and remember to feel the summer breeze!
