This is a way of life for some and an inexpensive alternative for their summer vacation for others. Whichever category you belong to, Greek campsites will make you forget your problems and enjoy the Greek summer without spending a fortune.

Even those who, a few years ago, did not want to prefer the charm of sleeping under the stars and awaking to the sounds of the sea and the birds to the conveniences of a luxury hotel are now reconsidering that choice. In addition to the economic situation, there is another reason for this change, namely the ever-expanding services offered by Greek campsites. There are 314 organized campsites in Greece, working under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Organization. They offer space for tents or caravans and a wide range of services as well as discounts for stays longer than a specific number of days in specific periods.
