At the same time, only 50 of 4150 doctors who have contracts with the free entrepreneurs’ fund have declared in writing that they would not examine IKA’s patients. According to publications in the Greek media, there are doctors included in the lists available at IKA’s clinics who do not meet the patients’ calls and demands to be examined. A few days ago the government in response to the strike and as solution to the patients decided that the doctors who examined the insured at other funds would be able to examine the patients insured at IKA for which they would be paid.

Meanwhile, all opposition parties in Parliament insist on the bill withdrawal arguing that it was made quickly, it wouldn’t be effective and was drawn at the Troika’s prompting.  Minister Loverdos responded to the attacks of the opposition that in his experience when the only argument against was that "the bill is made quickly" then there was nothing else to say.
