Participants from the second group enjoyed some advantages in comparison with the performers from the third group. Their hotel or traveling expenses, in some cases both, were paid. They were driven to and from Athinon Arena hall every day.
 
I belonged to the participants of the third group. We were completely at our own expenses. No one took care of us and no money was spent on us. We were never offered transport or a bottle of water. I felt even that they did not need me there... The Croatia singer refused to pay the traveling and accommodation costs at her expenses. She asked why she should do it. She was not replied by the end. On the contrary, her name was deleted from the list of participants. Participants from other countries who asked the same question were paid the hotel and traveling costs...

Unfortunately, music did not win. Cyprus did.
