Today she rebelled, being determined to destroy everything in her path that she has ever loved and to take her life into her own hands. Black comedy and drama constantly alternate and a hidden tenderness constantly breaks through the cruel reality, turning Maria’s last journey to redemption into a Greek story that is more relevant than ever."

Since she does not want to put up with her lost dignity, lack of care and with her "defeated" love for life, Maria decides to take the offensive, attacking herself, her past and loved ones, her country and other people’s opinions of her sex in a fierce fight for the truth that she is waging inside herself and with the outside world."
