The Hellenic Hotels Federation made calls to professional taxi drivers "to suspend the extreme forms of protest immediately" and the blockades of ports and airports "in the height of the most critical tourist season in recent years". Similar was the message of the Hellenic Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies, which stressed that "it is not possible the state to look on the actions that ruin tourism, without applying the law."
