In contrast, the residents of several villages on the island of Crete and the region of Epirus banned the local branches of Golden Dawn from holding election campaigns on their territory. Residents said they could not allow "those nostalgic for Hitler to act there. Buckets of yoghurt were thrown at one of the candidates of the party, but Golden Dawn does not give up.
