Potami defined the agreement with the Eurogroup as positive. The party’s statement points out that the government should proceed with the necessary reforms provided for in the agreement. "Alexis Tsipras finally chose the road of logic, which Potami supported from the very beginning. It is important to see the agreement’s fine print, but fortunately the nightmare scenario was avoided," the statement says. As far as the reforms are concerned, Potami emphasises that the government ministers must be really determined to undertake the necessary reforms so badly needed by the country, rather than hide behind general promises like the ones they made before the elections and reiterated in their policy statement.
