100 Years of a Living Art - history of the Greek costume
Greek national costumes are exhibited in the Museum on 7, Dimokritou Street in the metropolitan district of Kolonaki. It is organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Lyceum of Greek Women. The exhibition presents a small part of the collection of the Lyceum, which includes over 25,000 items. The Museum of the history of Greek costume is open from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 2 pm. The exhibition will continue until December 2012.

Ugo Rondinone - nude
The Museum of Cycladic Art presents the exhibition of Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, who drew the international attention with his poetic and evocative work. He is a painter, sculptor, photographer, video and installations maker. The museum is the host of seven human size figures, which are made of wax poured on live models. The exhibition is called Ugo Rondinone - nude and will be open for the public in Athens from 24 May to 19 September this year. You can visit the museum from 10 am to 8 pm. "The Greek Monsters" at Benaki Museum
Beetroot Design Group presents the exhibition "The Greek Monsters", Benaki Museum, Athens, 138 Piraeus Street. The artistic group of young artists is willing to respond with humour to the difficult social and economic situation in the country. Using mythology and modern art techniques, the young artists from Beetroot paraphrase the media face of Greece, which in many cases has been portrayed as the crippled monster of Europe after the start of the crisis.
