My personal opinion is that this scenario is not true. The government is exaggerating its forecasts related to the development of the economy. I do not think that the people will not go on holiday or on their planned vacation to one of the Greek islands because of the government instability.
When there is constant interference in the internal affairs and in the financing of the economy by both the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission, we see that the government is under pressure. Not only Samaras, but also Venizelos have succumbed to this pressure.
Although Democratic Left has withdrawn its ministers from the government, things in it remain unchanged. Only Democratic Left has inflicted losses due to the whole situation with ERT.
The closure of ERT was purely a strategic move, showing that the government is ready to cope with the cumbersome public system. However, even the government admits that there is no financial benefit from the closure of the national broadcaster. It was a symbolic act. My personal opinion is that this was a sacrifice in the name of the supervisory Troika, which has paved the way for mass dismissals in the public sector.
