Hello GRR HOT 15 fans! I hope you are feeling well and gladly expecting the weekend! What did you think of the Grammys? I hope you had the time to see them because they were incredible! Now let us not waste time and tell you what happened in GRR HOT 15 and don’t worry…I will tell you who won what too!

Number one this week remains Do You Remember by Jay Sean, Sean Paul and Lil Jon. It’s amazing that the song managed to keep the lead keeping in mind all the rest…just like Morning After Dark, by Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and SoShy, which climbed with three positions and is pushing it from number two.

Kokkina Halia also kept its last week’s position – number three. Their song I agapi theli hrono went a long way and is a proof that Greek music is as competitive as any other! Give them a push and vote! They deserve to become number one next week!

Two positions down and on number four is Empire State of Mind by Jay Z and Alicia Keys. Last Sunday Jay Z won 3 Grammys – two for Best rap song and best rap collaboration for his song Run this town and one for Best rap solo for his other song D.O.A.! Congrats Jay Z!

Number five is the Bulgarian blond charmer boy Miro with his song Ubivame s liubov. The song climbed with two positions and thus entered the TOP 5! Wow! We have a totally international TOP 5!

Morandi and his song Colors fell with two positions and landed on number six. Sad but inevitable since GRR HOT 15 is hosting some of the great songs out right now!

Three positions up and on number seven are Black Eyed Peas with their hit Meet me halfway! The group was more than happy at this year’s Grammy Awards. It won an award for Best pop vocal album for The E.N.D., Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for I gotta feeling and Best Short Form Music Video for Boom Boom Pow. Congratulations to you too BEP!

Nevma and Professional Sinnerz remained on number eight this week as well. Considering the tense competition it is good that their song Mine eki pou ise did not fall. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for them not to fall next week as well…

Good news for The festival band! Their film song Backgammon Dice climbed with three positions and stopped at number nine! As I have told you before the song became a hit after the Bulgarian movie “The World is Big and Salvations Lurks Around The Corner” came out and concurred the hearts of people around the world! If you haven’t seen it yet, do it and you will be pleasantly surprised!

Is anyone else surprised that Pitbull was nowhere to be seen at the Grammys? The singer surprised us with so many nice songs in such a short period of time that I really have the question mark in my head why he wasn’t even nominated?! I don’t like this…it makes me feel as if I am the only one who likes him, which I know is not true…I hope at least! OK, enough joking…his song Room Service fell with four positions in GRR HOT 15 this week and is now on number ten. His other song featuring Akon, Shut it down also fell and is now in number 14. The reason for both falls though, is because they have been present in the chart for quite a while…Look, I am even making excuses for him…I guess I am really quite disappointed about those Grammys!

MIKA on the other hand is doing good! Rain climbed with two positions and made a short stop at number eleven.

Last week Beyonce and Lady Gaga with their song Video Phone were about to fall out of the chart but I’m guessing the Grammys saved them! Beyonce was the big winner of the night after taking Grammys home for Best contemporary R&B album for I am…Sasha Fierce, Best R&B song for Single Ladies, Best traditional R&B vocal performance At Last, Best female R&B vocal performance for Single Ladies, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Halo and Song Of The Year for Single Ladies! Wow! The Jay Z-Beyonce family must have been very happy going home last Sunday with so many awards! Congrats!

I hope you saw the show on Sunday because if not for anything else it was worth it to see Gaga and Sir Elton John perform together! It was truly incredible and it made me wish I was there! Anyway, Gaga won a Grammy that night for Best electronic/dance album for The Fame and Best dance recording for Poker Face! Congratulations to you too Lady Gaga!

Unfortunately, Maria Ilieva and Keith Thompson fell with four positions. Their song Truly landed on number 13 and probably next week it will not be with us.

The new song this week is a Greek one! And a great rhythmic hit too! It is called Krifa and it is by Melisses! Check it out!

And now I wish you a warmer weather during the weekend with more sun! Have fun!
