Ten days before the elections, Athens police began checking houses occupied by illegal immigrants in the city centre. Three buildings were checked and twenty-one illegal immigrants were found.

The crisis has intensified the emigration trend, but it is not a fact yet, according to Greek professors. But even when it becomes a fact, it will be different from the same processes in the past and in many cases, it can be defined as mobility.

"Corporate responsibility is a necessity not a luxury," said the French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Transport Robin Edme. He was a guest of honour at the second forum on corporate social responsibility, which the company Capital Link organized in Athens.

In his speech, he warned that Europe is threatened not only by the collapse of the euro but by the disintegration of the Schengen area as a result of uncontrolled illegal immigration.
