The unions declare that fewer public workers are taking part in the strikes. During the last two Pan-Hellenic protests, there were employees in all offices, who served the citizens as on any other day.
The wages of deputies will be cut by 25%, and their allowances for participation in meetings of commissions and operating costs will be reduced by 20-40%.
The Ministry threatened that if municipalities continue to not send the names of their proposed workers, it will implement the measure without preconditions.
