Church holiday invitation

On October 25 the Bulgarian Orthodox Church “St. Yoan Rilski” in Athens will celebrate its holiday for a second time.

The holiday celebration will follow the following program:

Saturday, October 24

06:00PM Dinner

Sunday, October 25

08:30AM Morning prayer

10:00AM Holiday bishop liturgy

11:30AM Walk with the icon of the Saint and celebration with the participation of folk singers Lilyana Galevska and Yonka Vassileva and Bulgarian bands living in Athens. Host of the program will be presenter of “Ot balgarsko, po-balgarsko” on TV SKAT, Galya Asenova

The church is on 35 Papaflesa street in Anakasa region, Agii Anargiri municipality.

The easiest way to get there is to take bus number 024. The bus starts from Agios Yoanis metro station (Vouliagmenis Blvd), passed through Panapestimiou Blvd – stop in front of Titania Hotel, 3 Septemvriou Blvd – stop close to Omonia Square, Stournari Street – stop in front of Bulgarian Hotel Mocca, Liosion Street – stop in front of Attiki metro stop, Acharnon Street – stop Agio Eleftherio. The bus stops in front of the church and the name of the stop is Agii Mirofori.
