For another year, a sweet combination of cinema and cuisine will present the festival "Cinema in a dish,” which begins on March 1 and will continue until March 22 in Technopolis - Athens. The interesting thing about the festival is that it offers good movies in combination with a dinner, prepared by master chefs of famous restaurants, in the world metropolis.

This is the fourth year of the festival and it includes two new sections - Kids Festival and Live Cooking. The screening begins on Monday, March 1 at 08:00PM with the premiere of the film “Everybody’s Fine” by Kirk Jones, tells Ta Nea newspaper.

On Tuesday, March 2, we will be able to see the movie "Secretary" by Stephen Shainberg, on March 8 we can see the film "A brighter summer day" - a masterpiece by director Edward Yang, who is a member of the Taiwanese new wave cinema. On March 9, David Lynch fans will enjoy the classic "Mulholland Drive".

On March 15 the screening program includes the classic Russian film by Iosif Kheifits "The Lady with the Dog" - 1960 production based on the novel by Chekhov. The next day - March 16, follows last year's film "Mid-August Lunch” by Gianni Di Gregorio, who tells the story of 40-year-old Gianni, who does not work and still lives in the house of his mother. One August weekend, he finds himself alone in Rome with his mother and her friends...

“Fantastic Mr. Fox” by Wes Anderson closes the festival on March 22. All screenings will be followed by rich dinners at restaurants, where famous chefs unleash themselves.

In parallel, another festival will take place – “Cinema in the dish - Festival for Children" - for children aged between 4 and 10 years. Events where children are invited are on March 7, 14 and 21 and there will be lunches for children accompanied by discussions with dietitians for the proper and healthy nutrition, educational games, gifts, cooking tips from famous TV chefs, tale readings of favorite actors and screenings of children's films. The films, which will be shown for children are "Wall-E", "Barry and disco-worms" and "Fantastic Mr. Fox.”
