Discrimination against Roma in Bulgaria and Greece

A cautious note by the survey’s authors when looking at favourable results

It can be suggested that Roma in Bulgaria provided more favourable responses when compared with the other Roma groups surveyed due to the fact that they are more isolated from mainstream society, and effectively operate in a ‘parallel society’ with  infrequent contacts with the outside world.
