The researcher

Assoc. Prof. Niki Evelpidou

Assoc. Prof. Niki Evelpidou, Department of Geology and Environment, University of Athens, holds two PhDs, one in geology from the University of Athens and the other in geoarchaeology from Franche-Comte University (France). She has been awarded many times for her research, including by the Academy of Athens in 2014.

The researcher holds two patents and her scientific works include more than 250 publications in Greek and international journals and 17 books. Assoc. Prof. Evelpidou delivered many lectures and seminars in Greece and abroad, and is a national representative in numerous European projects and activities.
