Fans of Elena Paparizou who won the first place in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2004 with the song "My number one" will be able to see her again on stage next season. Her return, however, will not happen on the musical stage but in the theatre. And her performance there seems no less spectacular.
The singer will take part in the musical "Nine" based on the autobiographical film of great Italian director Federico Fellini. The premiere of the show will be at the Pantheon Theatre, Athens, on 28 October, directed by famous Greek producer Yiannis Kakleas.
Elena Paparizou’s striking image in the performance is evidenced by the photos of participants. The singer is sexy and her impressive bust is what attracts all eyes.
Along with Paparizou, the musical will involve famous Greek actors such as Vassilis Haralambopoulos, Katerina Lehou, Katerina Papoutsaki, Nadia Boule, Agoritsa Economou, Tania Tripi as well as one of the grand dames of Greek theatre and cinema art Maro Kontou.
In total 14 actors and dancers will appear on stage and a 12-member orchestra under the baton of Alexios Priftis will play the music. Manolis Pantelidakis is the set designer, Denis Vlachiotis costume designer and famous Greek singer Anna Vissi’s sister Lia is a phonetics teacher.
