The overwhelming satisfaction with the achievements and the agitation have made night after the victory "very difficult" and Javito himself is still in seventh heaven from happiness: "Because of happiness and agitation I could not sleep! The greeting messages that all my friends, relatives and compatriots sent me were many. It was a night that will never forget".

 After the unforgettable success in the match with Zaragoza in 2007, where the goal of the Spaniard qualified the yellow team for the rounds of the UEFA Cup, for the first time in the history of the team, came the time for Atletico Madrid to leave the stadium with their heads down. The player with the number 20 showed once again that he was the best way for the Spanish defense to be broken.

The emotional Javito states that the goal, which he scored a few days ago in Greece raised on their feet even the people from his native area Moraleha. "Almost everybody congratulated me. Many friends and acquaintances from Barcelona called me on the phone as well. My phone did not stop ringing" – he also admits. "I am Spanish, I learned to play soccer in my home country and for me it is very important to show that I advance. The victory against Atletico increases chances of Aris to qualify for the next stage of the Europa League. Nevertheless, however, Javito is clear that many more games against strong opponents are still ahead of the team. Of course, the outcome of the match against Atletico is important from a psychological perspective. A what about the skill he recently developed in scoring goals with his left foot? "The truth is that on this particular issue I've worked a lot during practices. Our opponents in Greece know that I am a quick player and are trying to block me most often from my right side. I believe that by improving the way I play with my left leg I have more chances to score in the future."

The "smiling boy," as they call him at the stadium Kleanthis Vikelidis in Thessaloniki played only once with the jersey of Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
