No, this is not about a new version of the popular TV series that made millions of women around the world see themselves in the characters of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. However, the vicissitudes of the four friends definitely are at the core of a new pastime that Elatohori village at the foot of Mount Olympus will offer visitors.

The initiative belongs to the group of young people in the village, Y.P.P. - Youth Positive Power. The event will take place under the clear title "S** and the Village" on 3 May and 4 May.

While the series viewers can see the "hot" shopping and entertainment places in New York, "S ** and the Village" will enable them to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty that the mountain air and the beautiful panoramic view of the mountain of the gods will offer them.

The similarities with the popular series do not end here. The idea of the young people is to offer traditional Greek entertainment but in a different way. The well-known edition "Cosmopolitan" in Elatohori will become "Elatochoritan" and visitors to the village can enjoy "cocktails" such as "Ouzo Colada", "Tsipourito" (named after the alcoholic drink "tsipouro") and many others.

Elatohori residents and visitors will gather at 2:00 pm on Saturday, 3 May, in "Pigi Keramida" park where there are many mountain streams crossed by picturesque wooden bridges. "Coals will burn, skewered meat will be roating and ouzo and tsipouro will continuously flow. In parallel, children and adults will be able to participate in outdoor games. The latter to remember childhood and the first simply because they like playing," the organizers wrote in the programme. The cover charge including skewered meat with salad and unlimited tsipouro or ouzo will be 5 euro.

On Sunday (4 May) the event will become very "Sex and the City"-like. At twelve o’clock, the old village square will become a water park despite the mountain landscape. The summer party will include all necessary accessories such as swimming pools, lounges, lifeguards and life belts. The DJ will be in the summer mood and will raise the spirits of the participants with his music. The main cocktail ingredient will be ouzo, and children and adults will take part in various outdoor games.

A cocktail will cost 5 euro and an ordinary drink 4 euro.

Just like in elegant nightclubs in New York, those who want to join the event will have to observe a certain dress code, namely swimsuit. However, the organizers will not be very strict and will allow exceptions and accessories like hats, flip flops, shorts, shirts and so on. Everyone can bring their equipment like balls and badminton rackets and should not forget their sun protection cream.
