Greece will introduce a special airport charge in favour of persons with disabilities. It will be levied on all passengers departing from Greek airports with the exception of children and crew members. This according to a special bill of the Ministry of Transport, which is currently being signed by the heads of various departments before being submitted for discussion in parliament.
The same bill provides for entrusting the ticket control in the public transport in Thessaloniki and other cities to private companies, the staff of the public transport being responsible for it only in Athens, as at present.
Other texts of the law suggest the formation of a commission to investigate rail accidents.
