The debt bulletin published today by the Ministry of Finance shows that as of 30 June 2015 the amount of the Greek debt was 312.8 billion euro.
Compared with the previous quarter, the debt increased by 100 million euro as it had amounted to 312.7 billion euro on 31 March 2015.
During the negotiations between Greece and its creditors, the ready cash in the state treasury almost vanished. From 796.5 million euro as of 31 March 2015, it dropped to 77.3 million euro as of 30 June 2015.
The amount of guarantees of the Greek state shrank from 15.95 billion euro in the first quarter of 2015 to 15.66 billion euro at the end of June 2015.
The weighted average maturity of debt as of 30 June 2015 was 15.44 years. 75.4% of the debt was long-term (over 5 years), 11.3% medium-term (1 to 5 years) and 13.3% short-term (up to 1 year).
