Greek fashion has enchanted Belgian audiences during a three-day show, which for the first time gave six Greek designers of clothing and accessories a chance to present their works to European companies in Brussels.

The initiative came from a group of Greek expatriates who have embarked on presenting Greek products across EU countries through the non-profit Α Discovering Network.

The three-day events peaked with a fashion show in Brussels' largest exhibition space, Maison du Peuple. Six Greek designers – Sofia Kokosalaki, Efi Grindela-Karandza, Zeus and Dione, Vassilis Zoulias, Christina Economou and Stefania Frangiska – treated the Belgian public to their art with great success showing that Greek Fashion can conquer the world.

The agenda also focused on creative contacts between Greek and overseas designers, a number of meetings were held with Belgian and European fashion companies.

The Greek designers were able to obtain information from the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO) about funding opportunities at European level.

Proceeds from the fashion show will go to Make A Wish foundation chapters in Greece and Belgium.
