Plamena Parteniotis
Hello, music fans,
It’s Friday again and we will spend some time with our favourite GRR HOT 15 again. This week’s chart promises us much of а variety, many changes and of course, lots of good music.
The charming Mixalis Xatzigiannis has successfully got to the first place. His song To Kalitero Psema quite vigorously has climbed up the musical ladder and finally reached the longed gold medal. This, of course, results in serious changes in the lower positions of the chart. So, the second place now belongs to the sexy Rihanna and her rhythmic track What's My Name. The chocolate R & B was number one only for a week and she has already stepped back. However, this is not the case with our bronze medal winner this week. Jessie J grabbed your attention as our new proposal a few weeks ago. Your votes prove this as the brunette has reached number three with her song Do It Like a Dude.
Another singer that definitely climbs ever higher up in the GRR Hot 15 is the always provocative Lady Gaga. Her song Born This Way which was one of the most anticipated titles at the beginning of 2011 placed her at number four. So, the blonde singer has succeeded to displace not only Maria Ilieva and her single I Like, but the very King of Pop Michael Jackson, who now awaits us with Hold My Hand at the number six.
The lucky number seven this week your votes give to Jeremih, who will be in Bulgaria after just one week to blow his fans with the promised cool live performance in Sofia. The rapper is closely followed by the Greek band Melises and their Lonely Heart, which is under number eighth. The ninth place is for the last week’s new proposal coming from the pop princess Britney Spears. Hold It Against Me not only proved a nice pop hit with house tunes, but quite successfully marks the return of the now-grown girl of the music stage. At the foot of the first ten we find the grand lady of the Greek music Anna Vissi. Your votes clearly show that may be it is time the singer to bring something fresh and new.
Eleven is the place for Grafa and his song Nevidim. The Bulgarian track falls more and more in GRR HOT 15 and here it is this week just one position off Duck Sause’s upbeat Barbara Streisand that are under the number twelve. While at the fatal number thirteen, Lubo still do sing us that Life Is Beautiful.
So, we got to the two new proposals this week. The first comes from the always getting into muddles Kanye West. Only a few days after the release the video to the song All Of The Lights got him in the next series of accusations and gossip. The controversial video presenting him in the company of Kid Cudi and Rihanna, debutes in GRR HOT 15 under number fourteen. Whether it will provoke you and whether you will like it will be clear within a week.
The other new proposal is by the electro band Hurts, which revealed that they will visit Bulgaria within the Elevation Festival. Their new single Sunday is charming for their tuny and nostalgic sounding, but for the pretty good video too. Will it provoke you?
And while listening to the colourful songs of our chart the time has come to say good bye. See you the next week. By that time.
