Hello GRR HOT 15 friends! This weekend is very special because on Sunday Bulgaria will vote for a Eurovision 2010 song! The cute guy representing the country in Oslo will be Miro (check out the competing songs below). For the first time Bulgarians will be able to vote for a song throughout the whole program, which will air on the national TV channel BNT at 08:30PM on Sunday. On the other hand Greece will announce its singer on March 12! The Greek singers competing to represent the country on Eurovision are Christos Hatzinasios with Illusion, Sunny Baltzis & Second Skin with Game Of Life, Manos Pyrovolakis with Kivotos Tou Noe (Noah's Arc), George Alkaios & Friends with OPA, George Karadimos with Polemao (Fight), Melisses with Kinesos (Chinese) and Émigré with Touch Me Deep Inside.
Listening to your votes this week I agapi theli hrono by Kokkina Halia kept its first position. This means that the Greek band is celebrating their third week on top of GRR HOT 15! Congratulations! Tighly following them this week are Black Eyed Peas with their song Meet me Halfway. The song took the second position after a two position jump..
Morning After Dark by Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and SoShy fell with one position and landed on number three. The trio never made to number one, which is a disappointment but nevertheless they had their fare share of TOP 3 time. Still it is not too late if you want to send them to the leading position, though!
On number four comes the song that makes your head rock and thoughts fly to an exotic island! Backgammon Dice by The Festival Band climbed with two positions and entered into the TOP 5! The song is moving up with such rhythm and lightness that there is a possibility the other song will not see it coming!
At the bottom of the TOP 5, sitting quietly is Rain by MIKA. The song reached the prestigious position after a three position jump! So there you have it – the complete TOP 5 and all candidates for the first position!
Do you remember by Jay Sean, Sean Paul and Lil Jon went through a crash. The song fell with three positions, leaving the TOP 5 and the fight for the first position. Currently the hit is on number six.
Coming up on number seven is another disappointment – Empire State of Mind by Jay z and Alicia Keys fell with two positions, because it did not receive your support! Vote and let us show how much we all Love New York!
Two positions up and on number eight this week are Melisses with their song Krifa. The band is moving up with a good paste in the chart and I can feel it is heading for the top.
On the other hand, with two positions down, is Ubivame s liubov by Miro. The singer will have the honor to represent Bulgaria on Eurovision in Oslo this year. On Sunday, February 28, Bulgarians will choose on out of his five songs, with which Miro will compete. And the candidate songs are: Eagle, Moiat pogled v teb, Twist & Tango, Ostani!... and Angel si ti.
Number ten this week is Soldier of Life by Sade. The singer jumped with three positions in GRR HOT 15 and even thought her song is melancholic, it manages to compete with the fast rhythms in the chart. Good luck!
On number eleven comes the total opposite of Soldier of Life and this is Oh, Africa by Akon and Keri Hilson! The hit climbed with three positions, which is a fantastic start, since it entered GRR HOT 15 only last week!
Sad new for Morandi and his song Colors. The hit never reached the very top and this past week it fell with three positions, which led it to number twelve.
The Greek charmer Sakis Rouvas had a pretty good week, because his song Spase to hrono climbed with two positions, which brought it to number 13. Let us see whether Sakis’ good luck on last year’s Eurovision will bring even better luck to this year’s candidates! Three positions down and on number fourteen are Nevma and Professional Sinnerz with their song Mine eki pou ise. The hit has been racing up and down in the chart for quite a while and finally it seems it will leave us next week. It might leave the chart but not the radio stations and TV music channels! After all, it is a hit!
The new song this week is by a Bulgarian singer, who has not been present in GRR HOT 15 lately. This is Graffa with his new MTV hit Ostaviash sledi! I hope you will enjoy it!
