Hello, music fans.
We meet on this unusually warm Friday in January to have again a lot of good music, dancing and cheerful with our GRR HOT 15.
The diva of the Greek pop music - Anna Vissi - wins this week’s gold medal. Her song Den Tha Iparxei Allo climbed to the top position of our chart at full speed. The pop melody is followed closely by late Michael Jackson’s Hold My Hand which also jumps slight. So, our last week favourite Kanye West drops to the bronze third place.
The fourth position this week remains unchanged. Grafa and his song Nevidim are waiting for us there. It is not the same, however, with the fifth position which is occupied by the dancing furies Duck Sauce. Their a bit retro song Barbara Streisand wins the hearts of more and more fans and your votes definitely show this. That's why the house song managed to fight another pretty crazy melody this week - Time Of My Life by the Black Eyed Peas, which is now sixth. The lucky number seven is again for the British band Coldplay and their beautiful Christmas Lights. Thus the Bulgarian neo-soul band Tri O five and their song Nowhere To Go fall one step down to number eight.
Nine is the step on which your votes place the fresh and crazy Raise Your Glass by the even more crazy and full of energy Pink. The singer is close to one of the new last week’s proposals, namely the song I Like by Maria Ilieva. Apparently the new addition to her musical record impressed you and it has been able to jump five steps up with your help.
We can say the same for the second new proposal from the past seven days. Mixalis Xatzigiannis enchants us again. This time he sang To Kalitero Psema to do this and the positive outcome is not late. The charmer climbs four steps only in a week. So, Far East Movement fall one more step down to number twelve. Miro and his Power are on the fatal thirteenth step again.
And here we have come to our first new proposal this week. Rihanna once again proves she is tireless and offers us her new and fresh single. The song What's My Name is a fresh mix of playful text, good dance rhythm and, of course, the distinctive voice of the R&B star. We will find out whether the song will enchant you. And the second new song for those seven days awaits you under number fifteen. It's Ok is the last single of the soul guru Cee Lo Green, who recently stepped up quite seriously. So, we sang his Forget You in the summer and now is the time for the next funk and rhythm dose from Mr. Green.
We will see what exactly happened to the songs in the chart the next Friday. Until then I wish you lots of sunshine, even though it is January, a lot of smiles and a wonderful weekend.
See you!
