Hello, music fans!

Today's edition of GRR Hot 15 is much more different than any other during the year. The reason more than clear is its ending. So, instead of jumping into the routine we will celebrate together the 15 coolest songs of the past 365 days. We expect you to choose the song of 2010!

There is nothing surprising in our first proposal. Just this was the year of Lady Gaga. And she definitely stormed radio and TV stations, and even declared herself the Queen of Twitter, Youtube and Facebook with multi-million fans and virtual views. Naturally, therefore her song Alejandro gained the title song of the year in various international charts and awards. Let's see if this will happen in our favourite chart. The second proposal in the holiday edition of GRR Hot 15 is reserved for a Bulgarian group, which not only made its next single in the last year but reigned on the music stage as one of the main figures in dance circles. Tri O Five and their song Nowhere To Go took the first place of our chart for five weeks making us dance and sing the chorus. The third song in the annual edition of our chart that we offer you for voting is another hot hit. The Greek house track of Nicko Last Summer in no time took the charts not only in his native Greece but in the Balkans too. The song successfully held the GRR Hot 15 gold medal for several weeks and that’s why it is among the 2010’s top 15.

The fourth proposal is an already slightly forgotten but still strong song. Meet Me Half Way of the always creative Black Eyed Peas has that slightly nostalgic mood typical for late winter - the time when the single was released. The song gained us from the start and stormed the charts to mid-spring. We No Speak Americano of Yolanda Be Cool Vrs Dcup was one of the biggest surprises of the 2010 summer. The song came out as if from nowhere and invaded any possible musical broadcasting in a few days. That is the reason the cover of the Italian classics to end up among the strongest fifteen songs in the annual edition of our favourite chart. The dance song is followed by another hit from the last spring that made us sing the chorus. I agapi Thelei Xrono of Kokina Xalia stayed at number one a few weeks and managed to fight off the fierce competition by Rihanna, Sakis Rouvas and other powerful names.

The lucky seventh proposal in the annual edition of GRR Hot 15 is exactly one of those powerful names in music that we mentioned above. Jay Z with the help of Alicia Keys caught us with the super successful Empire State of Mind. This was the track that really made a triumphant return of one of the founders of modern hip-hop on stage after nearly two years of silence. The next song is of the charming Mixalis Xatzigiannis singing again his To Kalokairi Mou. Number nine in the annual edition of the chart is the chocolate Rihanna that ruled the top position of our chart with Te Amo for several weeks in the summer. At the foot of the top ten of songs available for your vote we find a very strong Greek performance. Rous and his single Exeresis kept the first place for two weeks and so he is part of our holiday edition of GRR Hot 15.

The eleventh song in this unusual edition is of a lady for whom one position in the chart is just not enough. Therefore, Lady Gaga appears at the bottom of our chart in the company of Beyonce and their song Telephone. Under number twelve is the Greek charmer Sakis Rouvas and his striking Spase To Hrono. Right behind the dark charmer is the Bulgarian pop singer Grafa who succeeded to reach the first place in GRR Hot 15 with his song Nevidim in the last weeks of 2010. Then follows another Bulgarian participant. The fresh Upsurt with the support of the nice voice of Lora Karadzhova remind us of their Mrun Mrun which was successfully presented on the air this summer. So, time flies and we got to the last step of our holiday edition. This year it is for Melises and their beautiful Krifa. The single managed to gain the gold medal of our chart for short though and it will close the annual edition of songs and contenders offered for the Song of 2010.

I wish you many smiles, lots of music and very positive mood while counting down the last hours of 2010. Everything else comes in the right time anyway ... or we can simply go shopping for it.

See you in 2011!
