Hello dear readers! Today is Great Friday and like always on this day the weather is ‘sad’. I don’t remember the last time the weather in Greece did not reflect the mood of this day. Not raining but cloudy and melancholic. It would be inappropriate if I told you to have fun with GRR HOT 15 today but I save my right to tell you what happened in the chart during last week so you can enjoy the music and party tomorrow!
This week Melisses finally reached the top! Krifa won the fight against Meet me Halfway and climbed with one position the reach the number one. Graciously Black Eyed Peas gave away the leading position and fell down with one position to number two.
Sade officially entered the TOP 3. Her song Soldier of Life climbed with one position, which brought it to number three. It seems that this is the one song from the chart that suits this day. Following is on number four is Sakis Rouvas with Spase to hrono, which climbed with one position.
Two positions down and on number five are Akon and Keri Hilson with their song Oh, Africa. Sadly the song did not reach the top and is falling down, vote and push it up. It has a great rhythm and it seems to make everybody smile. Shouldn’t it be higher in the chart?
On number six comes Exeresis by Rous. The song climbed with four positions and it deserves it! It has been a while since I have liked a Greek song so much! It seems the hit has all the necessary elements to make you have fun!
Well, I agapi theli hrono had started to fall down but last week it received five of your votes, so now Kokkina Halia remained on number seven! Well, if you keep up the good work you might push them back up!
Charity song Everybody Hurts fell with two positions this past week and now it is on number eight. I certainly hope it managed to create awareness and that it brought out the good in all of us. Helping one in need is the greatest deed!
On number nine comes the spring hit I’m in the house by Steve Aoki and Zuper Blahq. The song climbed with two positions and it is surely headed for the top! Wow, it is going to be a battle up there! Who is going to win it? It all depends on you!
Well, listening to your votes again Ludacris and Flo Rida skyrocketed and their song I know you got a man climbed with five positions, stopping on number ten. Yes everybody – Flo Rida is back in the game! Not that he has ever been out of it but at least this is a very good return to GRR HOT 15.
On number eleven is the Greek Eurovision contestant OPA by Georgios Alkaios & Friends. The song climbed with two positions and it finally seems that it is making the long awaited attempt to go up.
I am very happy and so proud of you! You voted for one of my favourites – Backgammon Dice! Thanks to you the hit did not continue falling but it kept its position from last week – number twelve. Is it going to be too much if I ask you to push them up?
Four positions down and on number 13 is MIKA with Rain. Nice song but for some reason it did not do so well in the chart. Maybe because it did not enter it at the right moment and it had too many strong competitors? Unfortunately the same goes for Graffa and his song Ostaviash sledi. The song fell with six positions and it seems this will be the last week for it in the chart.
The new song this week is Anthem of the Kings and yes! Eminem is back together with 50 cent and Lil Wayne. Obviously these past weeks is all about great names returning to GRR HOT 15! I couldn’t be happier about it! Enjoy!
Well with two great names back in the chart I hope you will be able to handle it! This time you will have the opportunity to vote for all songs for two weeks and I hope on April 16 the winners will be obvious from your votes! Have a great Easter and a great vacation!
