The analysis notes that under the existing schedule, the next visit of the Troika in Athens is planned for early December 2011 to begin negotiations with the Greek state about the new Memorandum of economic policy. If these negotiations are completed on time, the Troika will return to Athens in early 2012 to finally sign the new contract. Greece has a strong interest to ensure such development.

Therefore, the elections planned in the country should be declared only when the contract of 27 October 2011 is completed and approved by Parliament.
