I continue with the basic meanings of the homes in the horoscope. As already mentioned in the previous article, some of the meanings of the homes have been amended and interpreted in a very different direction. I have noticed that great misunderstanding occur in the interpretation precisely because of the limited and unidirectional interpretation of the meanings of the homes. Which I think is not helpful nor for the astrology nor for the astrologers.

 Seventh Home

This is the home of the others. Expectations and stereotypes we have about them, how we connect. And also our ability to influence them. It is home of the partners of all types and the relationships we establish with them.

This is also the home of the sexual relationships because through sex we connect with the other person. I already wrote above that for me there is no reason to attribute sex to the fifth home. And it is logical that if there is no other person there can’t also be a sexual contact.

Some people would say - "Yes, however since the children are defined by the fifth home, and they are the result of a sexual contact, then what?"

What do you mean by then what? Children are the fruits of a sexual contact. "Fruit". In the previous article I mentioned about the secondary meaning (derivatives) of every home. Below in the description for the 11th home you will read that the 11th home is the home of the fulfilled desires, goals, ambitions, hopes. 11th home shows the things that person wins and acquires - ie he has planted something and then he picks the fruits of it. Fruits.

If we start counting from the seventh home until we get to fifth, we will count exactly 11 homes. Or in other words - the fifth home is the eleventh one for the seventh home. Therefore, the fifth home contains the "fruits" (11th) of the 7th home. The conclusion is crystal clear.

 Eighth House

This home is similar to the sixth home – it also symbolizes the unpleasant things of life. According to the tradition, the definition is "a home of the death." There is no need to mention that this definition should not be taken literally.

Which are those things that lead us to a sense of irretrievable end and nothing after them is no longer the same? These are the unexpected events, unplanned and which overturned life - chronic diseases, serious accidents, anything that threatens the existence and life of humans. But here are also the resources owned by others. Inheritances. When talking about inheritances, the first thing which everyone think sof are the financial ones. This is true. But often we are forced to inherit the "generic obligations" in not very pleasant character. Do not miss this nuance.

The 8th home is the home that ends in order to give birth to something new. It is therefore associated with the length of human life.

 The biggest obstacles in life are associated with human desires and his attachment to various material things. Everyone knows that nobody has taken anything with him when he has completed his earthly pilgrimage. However one rarely gives up until forced in some way. Therefore 8th home is defines different intrusive compulsions to do things that normally a man doesn’t do. Therefore 8th home is associated with purification and the transformation of man with his unusual obsession and mania.

Thist is also home to the occult. Because occultism studies in depth the things that are associated with life in general. But how to understand life if one has not touched death and things that end it?!

 Ninth House

This home is in the tradition is called "home of God." It symbolizes what leads us to the most real - what we were born for. This is the home of our purpose, showing our principles and ideals, our internal laws. This is the home of our "truth" the one which is right for ourselves.

Therefore, the 9th house is associated with the laws, religion, philosophy, our capacity for abstract thinking and hence with higher education. And education is obtained by means of teachers and mentors who are also located in this home.

This is the happiest home in the horoscope. Because if one follows his morals and his spiritual principles, one receives goodwill, protection and prosperity.

Here are also the distant travels, foreign countries and foreigners because during the search of the "meaning of life" one needs to know many things, to encounter different cultures, philosophies.

 Tenth House

This is the highest point in the horoscope. It shows where we have dashed at, what is the highest point to which we want to get. This is the peak of our human existence. It shows the position that we can achieve along with the prestige, power and recognition to it.

Therefore, the 10th home manages the reputation, accomplishments, occupation, career, what our society notices us for. It shows the energy we put in our work and what success we have.

 In the tradition, and today, the father is the one that has major influence on the choice of profession. Hence, the 10th house is concerned also to the father.

I wish to add here that in the Indian astrology the 9th home is also given the governance of the father along with the 10th house. For the reason that the father is the first teacher who gives the base. The father is the first who teaches the child what is right and what is not, gives him moral guidance. This in my view is completely logical and makes sense.

 Especially for the mother and father it is quite contradictory to which homes they should be allocated - whether the mother is at the 4th and the father is at the 10th or vice versa. It is said that to the 10th house should be allocated the parent who dominates. Traditionally this is the father.

People often say - what if the father is missing, as it often happens in recent times, then what? Who is the dominant parent if not the mother since she is the one that takes care of the child? And even if the father is not missing, definitely the mother is the one who takes more care of the children.

Well consider the following – whether the one who is absent, does not have a far greater influence on the children's minds, than the person who for years constantly takes care? People notice what they are missing! And it has an enormous impact on them - despite all contrary allegations. Elementary logic. No one craves and seeks what is already there.

 Eleventh House

In western astrology, this home is associated mainly with the friends, the social circles to which one subscribes. It defines large groups of people and friendships that are based on common goals, ideology and so on.

I think that this particular home remains somehow very undervalued and is given a rather vague meaning.

In the tradition that is the home of hopes and desires. And more precisely the fulfilled ones. I have no idea why this is being omitted.

 This home has as essential meaning the things that we wish to gain, our hopes, our greatest temptations. If the third house is the birth of desire, the first thought about it, the 11th home shows what we are able to gain. We win when we succeed, so the 11th home runs the success (its physical expression) as a whole. This is one of the homes which is mostly concerned to the material benefits - showing everything one wins, the flow all revenue - both the tangible and intangible. Not how they come but what and how much of it. If the second home defines the preserved, then the 11^th home defines the entire stream.

Therefore, a confusion often occurs because one can earn in many various ways and actually to earn a lot, but to keep a little. And the confusion comes from the fact that a weak second home, usually leads to the conclusion for low financial status, but it could be just the opposite - higher financial status due to a strong 11th house, however things related to keeping do not go smoothly. As would happen in a big business – there is a large cash flow, which is continuously reinvested and a man does not keep a lot of savings.

 Traditionally, in a family the eldest child is in the position of the first challenger for the inheritance and all younger children do respect him and benefit from his assistance, protection and support. This home, though it is a home of the benefits and success, has its bad side - too many desires, temptations that lead to manifestation of the arrogance and self centering. This is a place of abundance, but also of the surplus.

The interesting thing about this home is that all planets in it are usually good doers. The symbol of the 11^th sign of the zodiac is a pot - the subject, which collects what has been achieved.

But from the pot, its contents is poured freely. So all the planets here symbolize some wealth, but also waste. Because abundance always involves some surplus, which should be discarded. otherwise the flow would dry up due to lack of space for running.

 Twelfth House

And the last home in the horoscope. Which is the third of the unpleasant, the miserable. The other two are the sixth and eighth.

The main meaning of 12th home is a liberation, an escape from the land, from the matter. From a religious point of view I explained that childbirth is seen as a tragic event because the human spirit from a state of oneness with the whole, "falls" in duality of matter and loses its integrity. Or to lose the barriers standing on the way of good material state?

 12th home runs charity - voluntary loss of material goods. This home runs also the foreign countries - far from the birthplace, and emigration as a means of escape and liberation.

 Fixed investments are also managed by the 12th home, because these are spending of large amounts and are virtually lost in some given period. But a long-term investment is a spending, which over time can give financial freedom.
