Vassilis Katsos, president of Pharmathen

Backed by over 40 years of operation, the company has developed into one of the leaders in the country, based on the triptych: research, outward orientation, and investment. Today it employs more than 850 people and has three ultramodern research laboratories and two manufacturing plants. It has a fully vertical structure from development to distribution of pharmaceutical products in over 85 countries worldwide. In the next two years, it is expected to invest 10 million euro in infrastructure and create over 100 new jobs. In 2012, the company reported a turnover of more than 162 million euro, of which over 75% from exports.
