The Apple religion opened its first temple in Greece. On Kolonaki Square in downtown Athens, was opened the first store iStorm, an initiative of the Greek company for distribution of new technologies Quest. Macintosh products are well known to Greek users for many years now, but for the first time is officially opened a store under the name iStorm. So far the favorite iMac, MacBook, iPhone can be found in the well known technological stores like Kotsovolos and Multirama.

On the day of opening the store attracted more than five hundred people who came to greet the new venture and plan their future technology purchases. In a study conducted by GRReporter about why fanatical fans prefer Apple products, all respondents answered unanimously: the products are easy to operate and have a nice design.

"I bought my first iMac two and a half years ago. I do not want to change it for any other computer, especially not for a PC," said a young man of liberal profession. His next goal is to buy the new iPhone fourth generation, which recently came out in stores. "For the time being I am still operating with the old model of the iPhone and I am still raising money, but I will certainly buy it this year," said the admirer of the brand. According to him the main advantages of the new phone are that it is extremely easy to use and with convenient design. You can tell that its creators have invented the technology with the basic concept to facilitate consumers and to offer as many services as possible in this little machine," he says. "For quite some time I have been trying to convince the management of the company where I work to change our operating system with Mac, but with this crisis they do not agree with anything," joked the young man. Despite of that, he is clear that the price of Apple's products is worth.

The student of economics at the University of Athens Stavros was also among the visitors of the newly opened store. He has been a user for a short time and shared that he believed the main features of the MacBook are its easy operation menu and its design. Stavros said that all programs that he uses are compatible with both PC and a Mac, which facilitated the transfer of data from his old PC to his new acquisition.

After discussion with many visitors to the new store it became clear that the Mac users in Greece are just as fanatical fans of the brand as their associates in other countries in the world where this technology is being sold. The question why, however, remained. I sought for an answer from one of the assistant sellers in iStorm, the twenty years old Stelios, who enthusiastically told me how he found this dream job as he described it himself. He is a programmer by profession and explained that in total the staff of the store consists of 12 people, all professionally involved with IT science and fans of the products of Apple.

Stelios got his hands on the advert for recruitment of staff for the official agency of the company in Greece by chance and filed his CV. "The technology using which the products are created is innovative and is different in many ways from the widely spread technologies, such as those of other competitive companies," says Stelios, adding: "It is enough to buy once a simple iPod, to become addicted to the convenience and beauty of this technology and by the time you realize it you have already bought a MacBook and iPhone ".

The young boy explained that most customers who are not specialists in new technologies were first attracted by the design of the brand. Then they also discover its technological advantages (of the iMac for example) over other competing brands, and its full protection from virus and its fastest processor that enables fast and problem free performance of the assigned functions. "When you put it in your home, it makes the space more modern, more beautiful, and then you also discover the ease with which you operate with this type of technology," explains the shop assistant. For people with more advanced knowledge of IT science, the company is of interest because of the innovative technology it applies in the development of its products, says Stelios, and the store manager of iStorm adds: "Once you go Mac, you never go back!"Read phonetically
