Summer is gone but the memory of it is not. Some stubbornly refuse to say goodbye to it and will do autumn sun bathing around the coast until the last moment. Others are content with walks and cafes around the city. Third believe that summer is a state of mind and... reach for the wonderful alternative called "music under the stars". If the theory that humans are made of stars is true, then in Penthouse lounge bar on the roof of the 21^st floor of the President Hotel in Athens we are closest to them. Here, in their light we can certainly feel the rush of energy and place the summer rug for a bit longer.

The feeling is really worth it. The puff of the wind is warm and the music floats in the air. When it stops, is only left the silence of the stars. A down as a necklace are shining the lights of the city. The view is breathtaking and the atmosphere of the Penthouse lounge bar is cozy. At very decent and affordable prices the place is offering a bunch of interesting foods and drinks. The most expensive alcoholic drink is champagne, one glass of which costs 11 euros. Specialty of the bar is the exotic cocktail Thai Tiger. Such delicacies is nowhere else to be found. It is worth pressing the lift button and get on the 21^st floor (personally I for this cocktail would go to the 101^st). The magic lies in the combination of vodka, chocolate liqueur, strawberries, tabasco, a little fresh ginger, pieces of ice in... chocolate powder. I tried it and I guarantee that the taste is long remembered!

Penthouse lounge bar also offers a pool. Every day from 10.30am. to 19:30pm. the roof of the hotel turns into a beach. The place is visited not only by tourists but also by the Athenians hungry for something different. The music is usually dancehall reggae, ska soul hip hop and mash ups. Konstandinos Alexiou, head of the bar and the restaurant says that in September, traditionally on the roof are organized Jazz on Top concerts. Every Friday and Saturday in the heights of the city can be heared the famous jazz artist Dimitris Vassilakis and his band. "The place is truly exceptional. Moreover, here everyone has the opportunity to find a place for themselves. There are central locations, there isolated where one can stay by himself and enjoy the view... Anyone can find "his room" - is the conclusion of Konstandinos and I totally agree with it.
