59-year-old star of "Dangerous Liaisons" will play the part of a serial killer Jack Unterveger in the monodrama "Infernal comedy”. Story resembles very much to that of Joseph Frizal who locked his daughter in an improvised self made prison. The character of John Malkovich is a writer and journalist who is a favorite of the Viennese elite.

The monodrama "Infernal comedy" by Michael Sturminger will be on the stage on 25 and 26 May in the Cultural Center “Greek World” in Athens. We will hear in the performance the music of Beethoven, Vivaldi, Gluck, Mozart, Haydn and Weber, which will be played by the orchestra of the Vienna Academy. So far, it enjoys great success, and ticket sales have exceeded expectations repeatedly.

"One of the reasons for us to put this play on stage is the shocking similarity to things that happen in our society ... how people like a killer, monsters, manage to get away with such crimes,” is written in a comment of the Telegraph newspaper. Currently the show is played on stage in Barbican Theater in London, which registered last year 13 percent increase in its audience.

Besides John Malkovich in Athens also arrives Robert Wilson's play “Krap’s last movie” by Becket, which he directed himself, and played in the lead part. Wilson will make two performances 8 and 9 May in the hall of the Cultural Center “Greek world”.

Steven Berkoff will successfully present the play, which is currently on stage in London “The bad by Shakespeare” in Athens on 18, 19 and 20 May at the Foundation Michalis Kakoyanis Theatre. Berkoff getts on stage and plays and comments at the same time the most sinister characters in the text of the great playwright.
