The information that his name is on the "Lagarde List" has made him jump out of his skin. Trangas said he was the victim of a provocation and in addition, he had tried to refute the information long before its appearance.

George Trangas was irritated by publications whose authors criticized him stating that he was living the life of a rich man and having fun with his friends in Paris, for example, while criticizing the memorandum and Angela Merkel when in Greece.

Trangas responded with an angry message, stating that these journalists were "journalists of the Occupation," who attacked him because he opposed the memorandum.
