One of the most important things in everyone’s life is professional and public realization, and vocation. We all put the largest part of our energy in work, which primarily provides us with regard to our being purely physical. Elements such as social status, honor, glory, excellence, respect, come after that, although they also have great significance in our lives. Ultimately, we must first be alive before trying to strive for them.

In this article, as you probably already understood, I will focus on how these issues are defined in every individual horoscope.

I guess most people have heard of Maslow's pyramid. Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist who defined the pyramid of human needs, which play a key role in the development of human resources and the theory of motivation. The pyramid consists of the following five levels:

Physiological needs: air, water, food, sleep and basic requirements for life support.

Need for safety, security and tranquility.
Need for social approval, affection and love.
Need for respect, social status, recognition and esteem.
Need for self-actualization and contribution to society

Maslow argued that the lower levels needs are stronger than the higher level ones and that any lower level need should be reasonably well satisfied, before demand for a higher level appears.

Subsequently other theories came out that there are people who would neglect the lower level needs due to placing priority on higher levels needs such as self-actualization, social status and recognition for contributions to society. People who in the name of social needs would neglect their personal ones.

When every one of us asks the question - what is the meaning of my life and of life in general - the answer in most cases is exactly the contribution that one has to society and to the world at large. Everyone is born in response to some need of mankind. And this need is the same thing with his vocation. This is why a particular person, with his specific characteristics, talents, nature is as he is - to be able to fulfill this need. In India, they have a wonderful term in Sanskrit for this - dharma. Dharma means the vocation of a man, the reason he is on Earth—in other words the meaning to be born.

Very often when we hear the word vocation, we begin to think about the great and major cases. I am sorry I am going to say this so bluntly, but few are the ones who are called to Earth for large-scale businesses, political and government circles, fame and popularity. Vocation means to be called for something - even if it is to take care for the urban alleys. In the life of every person there is something specific that accompanies us almost all the time. And in fact this is exactly the reason, for which we are born. Sometimes this calling has nothing to do with our job and our profession as a whole.

In the individual horoscope according to time and place of birth calculated are two main axes in the horoscope – the Ascendant, of which almost all have heard and the middle of the sky or the Meridian. The Meridian is the highest place in the horoscope and it defines where we have the momentum of our life, which is the height and which we should achieve. In other words, this is the highest point to which we can go in life, things to which we aspire and which most accurately give an idea of the reason we are called on Earth, what is our vocation, what is our contribution to society. Therefore the Meridian (or the 10th house in the horoscope) is of paramount importance when we talk about vocation, accomplishments and success in life. Just do not make direct relation between “success, contribution and achievements = money”. This equation is not always true. Very often our success and contribution have nothing to do with our profession because it is associated only with ways we ensure our basic needs and gain material wealth.

To determine what the vocation of a person is, what profession one should choose, what one could achieve in their life and what type of environment one should choose, is not an easy task for astrologers. Since antiquity astrological rules were developed under which the social status of a man should first be determined. In other words, the social class, in which one will live. And then the kind of occupation one will have. All this is a feature of the individual horoscope, because in fact the most important thing in our lives is just that - how to express ourselves, how and where to realize our abilities and qualities. No man can do nothing in their life. Even the heirs of a multimillionaire accomplish something, even if it is just a hobby - such as climbing. In many cases, however, the horoscope does not clearly define a specific profession that a person should exercise constantly.

Interest in certain types of work or profession is often driven not so much to the action as the income from it. Indeed, the material position as a result maintains the interest of people to find out what profession they should seek. There are many cases where people ignore the jobs they like just so they can do something else that will bring them better income.

Jupiter is the planet which symbolism is associated generally with the opportunities in our life and especially for the analysis of our material situation. The position of this planet in the individual horoscope - as sign, house and relationships with other planets - is essential. Here I will mention some of the combinations that are called to be successful for the financial situation:
