The aircraft by which eccentric pop diva Lady Gaga will arrive in Athens is expected at Athens airport shortly before 07:00 pm. Her long-awaited and spectacular concert will take place at the Olympic Stadium on 19 September.

Despite the huge interest, Lady Gaga fans are not yet able to obtain tickets for the show. The tickets in the average expensive "golden standing" category that cost 104.50 euro are already sold out but the ticket offices continue to offer cheaper tickets worth between 38.50 euro and 82.50 euro. Those willing to buy the most expensive VIP tickets for 115.50 euro can obtain them as well.

The concert in Athens is part of the singer’s world tour entitled "ArtRave: The Artpop Ball Tour", which began on the 10th of September in Dubai. On the 13th of September, Lady Gaga performed for her fans in Tel Aviv, and on the 16th in Istanbul, from where she set off to Athens.

The Lady Gaga world tour is taking place on the occasion of her album "ARTPOP", which was a great success worldwide and became number one on the Billboard 200 just a week after its first release. The concert in Athens will present both tracks from it and old hits of the singer.

Her fans will enjoy in her show music, dances, a fashion show and party - the details that are always present in the concerts of Lady Gaga. The big stage that will be constructed at the Olympic Stadium will resemble an endless platform, where she will sing and dance along with 14 dancers and 5 musicians. At the same time, she will continuously change her clothes, wigs and feathers.

The stage itself is called the "fat lady" and is one of the largest in the world. With a length of 50 m, depth of 31 m and height of 21 m it will occupy an area of 2,000 sq. m. Two huge LED screens will be installed around the stage, and the total weight of the machines for special effects is about 30 tons.

The stadium gates will open at 06:30 pm and the concert is scheduled to begin at 09:00 pm.

According to the Greek media, Lady Gaga has ordered a red vintage Rolls Royce limousine to wait for her at the airport, a jeep for her personal security and a bus for her closest associates. Among them are her personal trainer, two stylists and her secretary.

She has booked the presidential suite and two premium suites at the hotel where she will stay. They should be furnished with white furniture and if that is not possible, white fabrics should cover the strong colours in the rooms. There should be fitness equipment and satellite receivers in the appartments too as well as double curtains of dense fabric and grey in colour. On the one hand, Lady Gaga does not want sunlight in her room while she is sleeping nor blinds to cover the windows on the other.

The sun is a threat to the sensitive skin of the singer, so all rooms will maintain a temperature of 23 degrees and when outside, she will always be protected by parasols.

According to some publications, Lady Gaga has expressed a desire to visit the Acropolis and the "Irodeio" Theatre and to attend a show there without making a fuss with her presence. Otherwise, she will visit the theatre alone after visiting the Acropolis Museum.

During her stay in Athens Lady Gaga will eat salads, fruits, fish and some Greek dishes. Her diet will not include seafood to which she is allergic. The singer has asked for the delivery of a specific Greek wine variety that she tried for the first time during her holiday in Crete in 2011.

The next stops of the Lady Gaga tour that will continue until 23 November are Antwerp, Amsterdam, Herning (Norway), Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Prague, Cologne, Berlin, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London (3 concerts and the tickets for two of them are already sold out), Paris (2 concerts), Vienna, Milan, Zurich, Barcelona, Lisbon, Birmingham (again), Glasgow (again), Sheffield, Newcastle and Paris (again).
