A short but attractive show was Lady Gaga’s gift to her Greek fans who had been waiting for her for hours on end yesterday afternoon at "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport in Athens.

While everyone expected that the eccentric pop star would do in Athens what she usually does upon arriving in other cities of her world tour, i.e. only to give autographs, she surprised the people who welcomed her. The star had prepared in the plane, and then presented at the airport, along with a group of dancers, a short dance show that is probably part of the concert programme.

The people who were waiting for her wondered why it took Gaga so long to get out of the VIP room at the airport since her private plane had landed 40 minutes earlier, when eight dancers in colourful costumes suddenly came out and started dancing. A few minutes later Lady Gaga herself appeared too, making them all gape at her.

Wearing a challenging costume with two gold shells covering her breasts and a knitted pink transparent veil covering her bare thighs, she walked around on her high-heeled shoes, swaying like a real star, and then theatrically raised her arms above her head. She was holding in one hand a mobile phone that was playing her tracks.

Then the star got into the jeep that was waiting a few metres away, where her fans had gathered and enthusiastically welcomed her. Lady Gaga got out of the jeep, the dancers carried her in their arms, like a new Cleopatra, and then walked around for a short time, very close to the group of people who had gathered there. The star said nothing, nor did she smile, she was just playing her role.

Of course, her fans there were disappointed that they could not ask for an autograph and take a photo with the star, but were impressed by her appearance. Some girls even cried because they could not believe that they were so close to their idol.

Then the jeeps with the singer and her entourage drove to the Grande Bretagne Hotel, where the star is staying. Today, Lady Gaga will be free to do what she wants to, but no one knows if she will eventually visit the Acropolis, as stated previously, as she is unpredictable and does not like to make plans.

Tomorrow, during her concert at OAKA stadium, Lady Gaga will appear on the big "Fat Lady" stage, the hectic construction of which has been continuing for several days now. It is expected that the star will present a spectacular show with a lot of effects and multiple costume changes. The programme includes 24 songs with 5 musicians and 14 dancers.

Ticket sale

As for tickets, the most expensive ones, i.e. for the Golden Standing and VIP categories, which cost 115.5 euro and 104.5 euro respectively, are sold out but the sale of tickets from the other categories is underway.
