The world-famous eccentric pop diva will perform at the Olympic Stadium in Athens on 19 September within the context of her tour "Lady Gaga's artRAVE: the ARTPOP Ball".
The news has been officially announced by the Greek company that organizes the concert, "Lavris" and "Live Nation Global Touring". According to head of "Live Nation Entertainment" Arthur Fogel, ticket sales for Lady Gaga’s tour in Northern and Central Europe, and in the UK, have surpassed all expectations.
"We are very excited that we have to add more concerts in other countries to meet the great interest on the part of the audience. This is a great tour from every point of view," he said.
The stage of the show is specially designed so that Lady Gaga can be close to her fans, no matter how far away their seats are. The corridors are made of translucent material. They start from the main stage and reach the audience, connecting the small stages around the big one at the same time. Spectators will be able to move and dance in these corridors and to watch the show from a completely different angle along with that.
Lady Gaga’s world tour is taking place on occasion of her album "ARTPOP", which is a great success worldwide and became number one on the Billboard 200 just a week after its first performance. The concert in Athens will present tracks from it as well as Lady Gaga’s previous hits.
The pre-sale for the concert will start at 10:00 am on 4 April, the price range of the tickets being between 38.50 euro and 82.50 euro. A seat in the arena will cost 49.50 euro. There will be a limited number of VIP seats with tickets from the 115.50-euro price category and Golden Standing with tickets for 104.50 euro.
