Love in astrological terms – part 2

I will turn aside a little before I continue with the aspects of Venus. I will focus on a very rare technique that is hardly used today in western astrology. It is unique in its simplicity and amazing at the same time of what information it can provide. It is called planetary fit or planetary order.

This is an ancient tradition and it is not new. French astrologer Alexander Volgin (originally from Russia but he lived and worked in France) is one of the leading astrologers of the 20th century. He has done the most extensive study of planetary order. And naturally he made a bunch of other useless.

The determination of Venus as morning or evening star is based precisely on this technique for the ‘fitting’ order of the planets. So, after we have determined whether Venus is morning or evening star, we can determine its planetary order and get the essence.

Assign this to your horoscopes or to horoscopes of other people. You'll be surprised for sure. First, you can use only the planets to Saturn. Then you can include the other three.

I will explain in brief what exactly this technique is. Everything in life has a beginning, middle and an end. This unique concept of beginning, middle and end applies in the horoscope too. So, if we want to understand where the energy of any planet comes from and where it goes we have to look what its order is. Life is a series of experiences. If we look at it in the context of reincarnation, then everyone was born with a congenital experience in a certain field. Let this be love. We were born with something we already know and learned and now (in this life) we have to learn something else. New lessons never reject what we have learned so far because we need a base to continue.

So, the planet (in the order of zodiac signs) from which Venus goes shows how we have learned to seek and experience love. What will light the fire for us? And the planet to which Venus goes shows how we will try to express and live love now. We will fall in love through what we know but we will learn something new.

This probably looks complicated, so I'll place a picture - the horoscope of Richard Burton. I chose it at random, and he is too popular.

The planetary order of Venus is marked:

It goes from Mercury to Jupiter

Briefly, this is interpreted as follows: Love was experienced in inconsistency through initiating relations one after another (Mercury is variable and in constant motion, it does not stay long anywhere and plays continuously). That style is followed again and intimate relationships are entered through it. But this time love will seek to be expressed and lived through Jupiter - the planet of excess, of exaggeration, of generosity and abundance. Jupiter teaches man to learn to be optimistic and have faith in love, to learn to discover beauty in everything, to be delighted by everything. Well, it can not but entails the more and more syndrome. The problem is that this can not happen in monogamous relationship, but in numerous connections. Mercury can not stay long in one place also. It constantly seeks new and new incentives.

This can be done for each planet, lunar nodes, Ascendant and Medium Coeli. Following the scheme, the Moon goes from Neptune to Mars. Despite its simplicity this technique offers surprisingly good feedback. Planetary links as starting and end point do not include lunar nodes, Ascendant and Medium Coeli. They may be only secondary focal points held by the other two. Only planets can "hold" because they have weight and physical nature. They are real physical objects.

As the topic is about love and the focus is Venus, I will give basic interpretations of it in various planetary chains. Even if there are several signs between the planets, it does not matter.

Below you will find the basic definitions of how a man is inclined to start intimate relationships, what is the start and ground.

Venus goes from and is motivated by:

Sun

Desire for ego recognition. Love is one of the core issues in life. These people place great emphasis on love in life; it is their self-recognition. They see themselves in the people they love and when they can love themselves they can love the others. They get involved in intimate relationships when they need to be loved. Love begins selfishly.

Moon

Desire to satisfy their need of emotional security. In love, these people know how to care for others and to express many feelings. They are very sentimental. Love begins when they feel secure with someone and have the opportunity to care for him.

Mercury

Desire for diversity, flexibility and variability. They get involved in intimate relationships like playing a game, when they find the opportunity to ‘speak’ about it and ‘exchange’ it. They can be very communicative, communicate with others through love. They need constant incentives in love and are driven by the impulse to find that incentives by any means.

Mars

Desire to play and show their love passions. They get involved into a love relationship when they feel energized and excited, when they pursue. The approach to love relationships is aggressive and sometimes destructive. They get attracted by situations allowing them express themselves exaltedly, to impose their love.

Jupiter

Desire to experience abundance in life. In practice, they are modest when involving into intimate relations. They find incentives in almost everything. They are absolutely optimistic. They need no special reason to get into relationships. They like everything and never get enough. They are always looking for more. Able to involve into intimate relationships with people that are capable to finance all their temptations.

Saturn

Desire to limit or unwillingness to love rather. Involving into intimate relationships means limitations. They are suspicious about love and are very careful. They are afraid that it brings only suffering, that they can lose it. But this is exactly what motivates them to initiate intimate relations. They enter into relationships that pose potential difficulties. This is not an easy starting position for Venus as it does not bring many opportunities for people to ask and seek love.

Uranium

Desire to differ in some way, to show their individuality and uniqueness. Their intimacy is very independent and free. Love with them begins suddenly, as a thunder, sometimes in very unusual circumstances and when they feel very special. They get in intimate relationships with a bang, which surprises even them themselves. They express themselves absolutely free in a very open way. The word ‘taboo’ is not in their dictionary.

Neptune

Desire for romance, fiery, ideal love. They are able to express themselves in a very fine, delicate and idealistic manner. The biggest romantics and idealists, but also the most confused people in love relationships. If anything breeds a sense of ideal love, they fall in love and get fully attached. This is their motive to enter into intimate relationships - romance just like in a fairy tale.

Pluto

Desire to experience love in its deepest. Obsessed with desire to experience it in the most intense way. They are irresistibly striving to find love - with a capital L. They go into intimate relations only when they feel a deep attraction and want to have a person with his or her love in full.

Here are the basic definitions about what love teaches man, what is the experience acquired.

Sun

Find individuality to recognize their ego. Through love they manage to find meaning in life, which is connected only to them, not to the other. They learn to self-assessment through people they love, to assess the lasting relationships.

Moon

Find emotional security. They learn how to express their love openly and spontaneously. They can fall into helpless, stagnant situations until they learn to enjoy the moment, to follow the flow of life and allow their emotions to flow.

Mercury

Find diversity, flexibility and variability. They learn to communicate with others through ‘exchanging’ love, to ‘play’ as children with love. Everything new is a sharp incentive for them. They may have many volatile and short connections and endless flirting.

Mars

They learn how to express actively through actions their emotional impulses and love. To show it, to be dynamic and initiative in love. They can be aggressive in intimate relationships.

Jupiter

To experience abundance in life. To learn to find love anywhere, to learn to have faith and optimism through love, to keep the spark through it… This leads to a constant ‘hunger’ for more. They can never get enough. They can enter a relationship because of the financial side.

Saturn

To find the discipline and structure in love. They learn to accept restrictions in love, to be cautious and careful, to be realistic, and not to walk heavily because otherwise it hurts. They often suffer in love, they loose it. They are inclined to get into ‘cold’ and practical relationships.

Uranium

They learn to express their love freely, in any individual ways. To find something unique in themselves and remain completely independent. Not to comply with any social norms, friendly advice and traditions. They learn to appreciate life and allow themselves to experiment.

Neptune

Find romance in love. They often get into very confused intimate relationships, desperate sometimes. They learn to express their love in a very delicate and subtle way. They give in full, almost completely loosing themselves. Love can be extremely exhausting, and therefore lead to total chaos in life.

Pluto

Find love to obsess them in the most intense way. Everything must be to the extreme. They learn to feel love deeply and passionately, to find satisfaction.

I will mention something else in brief. Planetary order can change over the years. This means that there are several stage of development and acquisition of experience with love for some people. Simply, if the planetary order for Venus in the birthday horoscope is Mars-Venus-Sun, it can change to Sun-Venus-Jupiter after a number of years. This is determined by a predictive technique called secondary progressions. According to it, every day after birth is equivalent to one year of life.

Such a change does not mean that the birthday pattern is invalid and void. It rather indicates that the person will be able to gain the experiences set in the birthday horoscope and to change the way they enter into intimate relationships and experience them after a certain age.

Of course, there are those horoscopes where the planetary order of Venus can remain almost constant throughout the active love life. In this case we can hardly say if that man would be able to learn the lessons.

But this rarely happens because Venus is moving at a speed of 1° per day. And it is always close to the Sun and Mercury. And it symbolizes the fact that people change their attitude and the approach to love and intimate relationships over the years. Nature has thought of everything. And it ‘tells’ it through its unique language.
